Cindy Inman after receiving her 30 year service award from USA Softball Executive Director, Craig Cress

Cindy Inman, of Rosedale, Indiana, will step down from her position as Indiana ASA Junior Olympic State Commissioner, effective November 17, 2016. Cindy has served in this role since 1992. Cindy has been involved with ASA since 1985 as a league president and Assistant State JO Commissioner prior to being selected as the JO Commissioner in 1992.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Indiana’s coaches, players and parents as well as the many friends I have made nationally with ASA. I am looking forward to traveling with my husband, Stacy Kueber, and spending more time with my four grandchildren, Max and Macy Inman, Samera Dombkowski and Oliver Bernardin. I am also looking forward to watching my granddaughter, Samera, play on a USA Softball 8U team.” said Inman.

State Commissioner Mick Renneisen had this to say about Cindy Inman: “Cindy has had a tremendous career serving as the Indiana ASA Junior Olympic Commissioner. She has grown the JO program in our state to unprecedented levels during her career. She is often asked by other Junior Olympic Commissioners from around the country to provide guidance on how to improve their youth programs in their states. While Cindy will be missed, she has agreed to continue to serve the Indiana ASA Junior Olympic program as an advisor.”

Cindy has had an illustrious career as Indiana’s Junior Olympic State Commissioner. She has been on the National ASA Council for 25 years. In that role Cindy has been the Chair and/or Vice-Chair of the JO Committee, Legislative Committee, Tournament Programs Committee as well as serving on the Register ASA Committee, Drug Testing Committee, Publications Committee, Rules Committee, Girls and Women’s Programs, Code Restructuring and Tournament Restructuring. Cindy has served at more than 25 ASA National Tournaments as the ASA Representative and Drug Testing Representative. She has also served as the Midwest Regional JO Commissioner on two separate occasions. Cindy was awarded the National President’s Award in 2000 and 2001. Cindy was inducted into the Indiana ASA Hall of Fame in 2008.

Cindy will remain with the Junior Olympic program in an advisory role assisting new JO State Commissioner Jeff Alsip and Tournament Coordinator, Tim Fulton in their new positions.
